Why it matters

Why Homeowners Call Us

A fireplace that won't light, throws soot, smells off, or blows cold air isn't just annoying—it can be unsafe. Most of the time it's a fixable problem: a worn thermopile, a clogged burner, a tired blower, a pilot that won't stay lit, or a remote that's lost its mind.

Our techs are factory-trained on Heat & Glo and Regency and work on most other gas, wood, and electric brands too. We diagnose it honestly, tell you what it needs, and fix it right—we won't upsell you a whole new unit when a part will do.

And because our service crew is out working even on Mondays, when the showroom and office are closed, we can usually get to you faster than the shops that shut down for the day.

Common Questions About Repairs

Plain answers about repairs. Tap any question to read more.

See all questions & answers
The gas fireplace won't light. Can you fix it?
Usually, yes. A pilot that won't stay lit is often a worn thermopile or thermocouple, a dirty pilot assembly, or a gas-supply issue—all common, fixable repairs. We'll diagnose it and tell you exactly what it needs.
What does a service call cost?
It depends on the problem and the parts, so we give you a clear quote after the diagnosis—before any work starts. Service and diagnostic pricing is being finalized; call us at (734) 287-4545 and we'll walk you through it.
Do you service fireplaces and stoves you didn't install?
Yes. We service most gas, wood, and electric brands, whether or not we sold you the unit.
Do you really work on Mondays?
We do. Our showroom and office are closed Mondays, but our service techs and installers are out on the road, so Monday is often a great day to get on the schedule.
Do you handle chimney sweeping or inspections?
We focus on the fireplace, insert, and stove itself. For full chimney sweeping and inspections we'll point you to a trusted local sweep, then handle any repair the unit needs once that's done.
