It warms roughly 900–1,800 square feet—a living room and the space around it, not a great hall—and the included fan pushes that warmth to the far side of the room instead of leaving it at the glass. The remote runs everything from the couch: on and off, flame height, fan speed, and a thermostat that holds the room where you set it. The detail people notice is the top lighting: built-in lights above the fire that illuminate the logs or glass from overhead, giving the display a depth that flame alone doesn’t have.
