You need a fire both rooms can see. If you’re building or remodeling and want the living room and the dining room—or the bedroom and the bath—to share one focal point, the see-through Napoleon Vector 50 is built for exactly that. Choose a single-sided unit instead and one of those rooms goes without. What Makes It Special The glass runs straight through the wall, so the same flames become the focal point of two rooms at once. A multi-colored LED ember bed with top lights lets you pick any color from the eFIRE app to match the room or the mood, and the included remote runs every function from the couch—flame height, ember bed, all of it. It also answers the TV question. Add the optional Dynamic Heat Control system and the wall above the fireplace stays cool enough that a television or artwork can hang directly above it—and the system works without a fan, so it’s quiet. The ducted heat management option goes further: install the unit as a true room divider with cables passed safely through the wall, or move the warmth to another room entirely.
